Viscos Linen Characteristics

• Softness and Drape: The viscose component provides a soft, smooth feel and a flowing, fluid drape, unlike the stiffer feel of 100% linen.

• Breathability and Absorbency: The blend offers good breathability and moisture absorption, thanks to both fibers, making it a comfortable choice for warm weather.

• Wrinkle Resistance: While linen naturally wrinkles, the addition of viscose helps to reduce this tendency, making the fabric easier to wear and care for.

• Texture: Viscose linen typically has a slightly slubby or rustic texture due to the linen fibers, which gives it a natural, textured look.

• Comfort: It is pleasant against the skin, cool to wear, and doesn't trap body heat, making it ideal for summer apparel.

• Durability: The natural linen fibers contribute to the fabric's strength and durability.

Washing

1. Use cold water: Always wash on a gentle cycle with cold water to prevent shrinkage and preserve the fabric's integrity.

2. Choose a mild detergent: Opt for a gentle, pH-neutral detergent to protect the fibers and color.

3. Consider hand washing: For delicate items or to be extra cautious, hand wash in cool water.

4. Separate colors: When washing, separate dark or colored items from white and lighter-colored garments to prevent color transfer.

Drying

1. Lay flat to dry: Place the garment on a flat surface or hanger to dry.

2. Avoid the dryer: Do not use a tumble dryer, as the heat can cause significant shrinkage and damage.

3. Dry in the shade: Hang the item to dry in the shade or away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
